About You / What We Are Looking For
This
position reports to the Building Services Supervisor and provides front line
customer service and janitorial duties while following a facility schedule. It
requires the use of a City vehicle to service outdoor washrooms on a working
schedule of Wednesday to Sunday from 3:00PM to 9:30PM. These physically
demanding duties will be safely performed under general supervision and work
performance will be reviewed to ensure we are providing superior janitorial and
related services to our residents. Furthermore, you will utilize your strong
communication skills, while working courteously and effectively with the
public. If you would like to utilize your customer service and janitorial

The ideal candidate will have completed some high school education, preferably
have completed janitorial courses, and have some related work experience.
Please note that an equivalent combination of training and experience may also
be considered.
Minimum Qualifications
·
A minimum of 2 years of
related experience, as well as a Building Service Worker certificate is an
asset.
·
A driver’s license for the
province of BC is required (with satisfactory driving record).
What We Offer:
This CUPE position has
an hourly rate range of $28.26 - $33.09 (2025 rates).
The
rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications,
knowledge, experience and skills.
